Four
months from our two year anniversary God decided to bless my husband and I with
a new addition to our family. I remember sitting down and making a list of
where we wanted and planned on being within five years of marriage and kids
were on the list right at the three year mark! No sooner... At the age of four
my nephew joined our family and has brought so much energy and joy with his
boyish ways. When I look back I can't help but to laugh at how silly we were to
think that our plans were going to go exactly the way we planned. The truth is
that Gods plans are so much bigger than we could ever imagine. My husband and I
were twenty-four at the time (of course he would add that he's older by a
month) but we were so engulfed in ourselves that we didn't leave much room for
God's design. May 2010 I gave birth to a wonderful wide eye baby boy who has
brought even more joy to our lives. I'm so so grateful that we are blessed with
the gift of two little boys, because God is molding us and growing us into the
Man and Woman, Husband and Wife, and Father and Mother that he has designed us
to be. I started this blog because as a private person I
tend to hold allot in not because I'm shy but because I'm always
worried how someone will feel about me or the idea that they may be offended or
hurt by my opinion. I'm learning that you can't always concern
yourself with others opinions. The key is to embrace who God made you to
be while showing the fruits of the spirit. In this blog I will share my
thoughts, creativity, and ideas, along with passion for food and design.
